Proposal Progress | Week 9

Dates: 6/30/25 - 7/06/25

This week, I created and implemented a new “Codes and Standards” page on the NAVI project website, gathering and organizing relevant standards from the U.S. Department of Justice, ISO, ANSI, NEMA, and other key organizations into clearly defined categories. I also updated the References section to include these standards for integration into our final report.

Additionally, I reformatted the Proposal Ideas page to present the concepts more clearly and effectively. On the design side, I continued self-paced learning sessions through Autodesk for Fusion 360 to further strengthen my CAD skills. I worked on detailed CAD drawings to define the dimensions for all layers of the NAVI system and finalized the front plate and face design, including integration of the IR sensors. This involved designing brackets, brims, and other mounting components, along with making necessary dimensional adjustments to align with current project specifications.

Lastly, I updated all website pages with new renderings of the NAVI device to reflect our design vision and removed placeholder content such as templates and draft mockups.
