Meet the Team
Get to know the minds behind the project. Our team is composed of two dedicated Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology students from Valencia College, each bringing a unique set of skills, experiences, and passions to the table. United by a shared goal of innovation and problem-solving, we’ve collaborated closely to design, develop, and deliver a solution that reflects both our technical knowledge and our commitment to engineering excellence.

Anthony Sevarino
Anthony is a student pursuing a Bachelors of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a focus in Computer Systems at Valencia State College. Currently, he holds an AI/Cybersecurity intern position at Siemens Energy, developing Large Language Models aimed at protecting the energy sector's critical infrastructure against cyber threats. Anthony also works at Valencia College as a lab and teaching assistant, where he aids in the educational development of his peers, and continues to grow his own understanding of fundamental concepts. During this time in his work and academics, Anthony has obtained a true passion for computer systems engineering, embedded systems, FPGA, hardware programming, and software development.
Lazaro Vazquez
Lazaro Vazquez is a student pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology at Valencia College. He currently serves as the President of the Florida Engineering Society (FES) Student Chapter and represents students statewide as a member of the FES Board of Directors. Lazaro also works as a Senior Engineering Lab Assistant, where he supports coursework in circuit analysis, system design, and a variety of other courses with hands-on troubleshooting and analysis.
Lazaro has a deep passion for building and troubleshooting computer systems and enjoys exploring the ways electrical systems interact with modern technology. His senior capstone project, ParkSense, reflects this interest through the development of a LIDAR-based parking assistant system designed to enhance driver safety. Looking ahead, Lazaro aims to apply his skills in developing innovative electrical and computer systems that support the growing field of renewable energy.
