Worked on several key areas of the website to improve its design and functionality. In terms of UI/UX development, I enhanced various interface elements by standardizing layout spacing and updating the color palette of the site, which helped establish a more consistent and visually appealing user experience. I also improved the site’s responsiveness and overall readability across different devices.

For the main page, I implemented updates based on feedback from our weekly project meetings and in collaboration with Anthony, created the new project name, NAVI. This is to replace the old project name, the BCAN The page was also revised to highlight our new primary capstone proposal including updated content and imagery to better reflect the project’s direction.

In support of the NAVI system, I conducted additional product research, focusing on wearable modules, haptic feedback solutions, and accessible design practices to ensure the device meets the needs of visually impaired users. I also designed a new Survey page that aligns with the website’s existing style and color scheme. This page includes a Google Forms survey embedded directly into it, aimed at gathering user insights, though it has not yet been published. Additionally, I created a new Weekly Meetings page using a dropdown FAQ-style template complete with animations and consistent styling. I’ve already transferred existing documentation into the sections for Weeks 2 and 3.

Based on weekly meeting feedback, a variety of changes were made to the website. The name of our project was changed to NAVI. Updated main page and all other subsequent pages to reflect new project name. Updated survey page to condense all sections into one page and still keep the same flow with section text dividers. Provided a product description on survey main introduction section for respondents and added distance oriented questions to the survey. Researched visually impaired aids when respondents taking survey have no assistance or would like to take the survey independently.
