Dates: 7/21/25 - 7/27/25

During Week 12, strides were made in both the technical design and presentation aspects of the NAVI project. One of the key updates involved revising the CAD model to reflect a more complete sensor layout, incorporating IR sensors not only on the front but now also on the sides and rear of the wearable frame. This design adjustment aims to enhance the system’s field of detection and improve spatial awareness for users in real-world navigation scenarios. The updated CAD drawings were integrated into both the project website and the ongoing presentation materials to ensure all documentation accurately reflected the current state of development.

In parallel, substantial effort was put into refining the PowerPoint presentation. High-quality images, technical figures, and key system diagrams were added to visually support the talking points and help communicate the engineering rationale behind each subsystem. The goal was to create a clean, informative, and accessible presentation that could be understood by both technical and non-technical audiences.

To prepare for the final proposal delivery, I partnered with Anthony for dedicated practice sessions. We focused on pacing, transitions, and technical clarity, working to align our delivery so that each section flowed logically while staying within the allotted time. We also reviewed the expected Q&A portion to anticipate potential questions from faculty and industry evaluators.
