Proposal Progress | Week 1

Dates: 5/07/25 - 5/13/25

This week marked strong initial progress on the capstone project website. I began by exploring Wix.com to establish the site’s foundational UI/UX structure. A clean, multi-level navigation system was implemented using pages and dropdown menus to ensure a user-friendly experience. The main landing page was developed to introduce the project, outlining its scope, purpose, and anticipated impact.

A proposal ideas page was created to showcase potential project concepts, each accompanied by descriptive summaries and AI-generated visuals aligned with a consistent theme. I also developed detailed system block diagrams for both the ParkSense and Beetle (BTL) systems to illustrate their technical architectures.

To support feasibility evaluation, I constructed comparison tables highlighting key features and specifications of both systems. Additionally, I conducted product research into potential hardware components and sensing technologies. Lastly, a “Meet the Team” page was added, featuring team member photos and a brief biography highlighting my role in the project.
