This week involved progress across both the website development and the design aspects of the senior project. On the website side, I completed the creation of all subpages within the Senior Design tab. To support these additions, I also developed new Google Sheets tailored to each section, including resources for task distribution, time and effort tracking, the project timeline, a Gantt chart, and several other organizational tools. Additionally, the Progress Log was moved to the main page as its own dedicated section, as limitations within Wix’s blog post system presented complications that restricted functionality. Alongside this structural work, I also focused on the visual design of the senior design pages—refining layouts and ensuring consistent presentation across all tables and content areas.

On the technical side, I advanced the development of the CAD drawing, with preparations underway for a front plate print. A redesign of the front face plate was completed to provide more precise angles of reference for both the middle and lower pairs of IR sensors. This adjustment also required reworking the brim and IR mounting plates in Fusion 360, since they were originally linked to a master file that prevented independent modifications. The first 3D print of the updated design began with an estimated completion time of 16 hours; however, the process failed due to a shift during printing. Following a review of the issue, the file was revised and a second print was initiated, with a new estimated completion time of 28 hours.
