Proposal Progress | Week 2

This weeks progress session focused on refining and enhancing the website’s user experience and content accuracy. UI/UX improvements were made by optimizing page layouts and visual hierarchy to support clearer navigation and readability. A consistent design system was applied across all main pages, including unified font styles, color palettes, and button aesthetics, with added responsiveness for mobile and tablet devices.

The main landing page content was revised to more accurately represent the capstone project’s objectives and deliverables. Edits were made for clarity and conciseness, and visual balance was improved by adjusting image positioning and spacing. Updates to the proposal ideas page included revised descriptions based on team feedback, integration of higher-quality images, and the addition of hover effects and alt-text for accessibility compliance. System block diagrams for both the ParkSense and BTL systems were upgraded with labeled components, directional flow markers, and visual enhancements to better align with the revised project scope.

Comparison tables were reformatted for clarity, incorporating newly researched data, descriptive headers, and contextual notes. Lastly, further product research was conducted to expand specifications and explore alternative technologies, with key findings integrated into the proposal and comparison sections to strengthen the overall presentation.
