This week I dealt with repairing the system following issues with total motal failure, as well as our central microcontroller being fried.
The motors all became unusable during a construction session, wherein CAM glue seeped into the shafts of each of the individual motors and rendered them useless. This required complete disassembly of the device, acquisition of new motors, and reconstruction,
Then, later in the week, I used a unknown micro USB cable to attempt to update part of the code for calibration purposes, and it fried the Rasperry Pi. Thus, a new one needed to be sodlered onto the perfboard setup.
Then, our TPU charging module went bad as a result of this fried MCU, so that also needed to be replaced.
All of these tasks were completed successfully and testing was able to be conducted, concluding our work on the NAVI project. The final remaining efforts are focused on presentation preparation.
